It feels quite plasticky but produces a good light and saves the surefire battery to enable maximum throw on another light while this helps with all the mundane tasks.

This LED lamp does not fade when hot and maintains its bright white, unlike other similar lamps on the market, for much longer.The output from the red LED is very impressive, I have not used it yet in the field, however I am sure it will be a great addition when out walking and navigating in the dark.
