There is a fine line between “this sex scene makes me want to kill myself” and “this is actually a nice and intimate moment between characters that I love” and I think that line for me is way thinner than for most people – and also popular romance seems to cross it a lot. Business or Pleasure basically opens with a sex scene cringe enough to give you material for around three years of therapy. I fell in love with Chandler and Finn and the honest conversations they have about female pleasure, desire and mental health. Their first night together was less than stellar for Chandler and she offers to give Finn sex lessons when he discovers his past partners were left dissatisfied in the bedroom department too. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. Her next project is ghostwriting a memoir for Finn Walsh, a C-list actor best known for playing a lovable nerd on a cult classic werewolf show who now makes a living appearing at fan conventions across the country. I love how hilarious and spicy it was. The sexual tension was written so well while ensuring that the both MCs don't lose their personalities to that one storyline.
